A salesperson at heart, the Export Back Office Assistant intervenes when an order is placed, ensuring that delivery and payment go smoothly. Strong interpersonal skills, a negotiating temperament and computer skills are essential for this interface role between sales staff, customers, logistics and purchasing.

You will be based at Snetor’s head office in Courbevoie, in the Africa department for a period of 4 to 6 months from May-June.

Assignments

  • Place orders in SAP
  • Ensuring customer follow-up through to delivery
  • Follow-up with customers for payment
  • Monitoring product quotations
  • Follow-up on product samples
  • Monitoring technical standards and legal obligations
  • Market research
  • Canvassing follow-up
  • Ability to propose products to customers, negotiate and close orders

Profile required

  • Good command of office and IT tools
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent negotiating skills
  • Fluent English essential
  • Initial training: at least 3 years’ higher education in international trade, a Master’s degree from a business school would be appreciated
