Description
Vaseline, also known as petroleum jelly, is a semi-solid mixture of hydrocarbons derived from petroleum. It is colourless to pale yellow and odourless. Vaseline is widely used as a skin protector and moisturiser in personal care products. It helps to retain moisture, soothe dry or irritated skin, and create a barrier to protect the skin from external elements. It is also used in various industrial applications, such as lubrication, and as a base for ointments and creams.
