Description
PP random copolymer (PPR or PP-RC) is preferred for its clarity, transparency and rigidity. It is created by randomly incorporating ethylene or other comonomers along the polypropylene chain, rather than as regular blocks. This random dispersion gives random copolymers improved optical properties, making them ideal for applications such as packaging that require increased transparency.
Properties and features
                        When the aesthetics of Random copolymers are enhanced by clarification, it provides the opportunity to place them in multi-use rigid, durable applications such as food savers and sports bottles where its combination of lightweight, clarity, impact, odour and heat resistance make it an ideal substitute for glass and other plastics.

                        Compared with other types of polypropylene, random PP can offer higher rigidity while maintaining good flexibility.

                        PP random can achieve a high degree of transparency, particularly when used in film or container form.
                Green assets
- Lightweight and low carbon footprint: with a density of approximately 0.9 g/cm³, random PP reduces transport-related emissions ;
 - Energy-efficient production: its low energy consumption during production makes random PP one of the most sustainable polymers among common plastics.
