Description
Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate (SLES) is a clear, light yellow, viscous liquid and soluble in water. It is one of the most significant anionic surfactants, classified as a fatty alcohol sulfate salt. Like other fatty alcohol sulfates and fatty alcohol ether sulfates, SLES is used for its surfactant properties, with molecules featuring both hydrophilic and hydrophobic parts. Its adjustable properties make it suitable for a variety of applications, including those requiring high foaming, detergency, stability across a broad pH range, water solubility, or chemical compatibility.
