For the second year running, Snetor proudly renews its commitment to the Vent d’Espol student association. The 2025 edition of the Vent d’Espoir project is part of a strong commitment to raising awareness and taking concrete action to preserve marine ecosystems.
A committed project
The project involves a six-day sailing expedition to meet local players dedicated to marine conservation. From May 2 to 8, we were able to see our Snetor logo sailing along the sumptuous Mediterranean coastline.
During the six days of sailing between Hyères, Le Lavandou, Porquerolles, Port-Cros, Toulon and Carqueiranne, the students experienced an adventure rich in scenery, encounters and impactful actions. Every day, the team was involved in beach waste collection, exchanges with committed local associations such as Explore & Preserve and Poseidon Family, as well as educational visits, including the Carmignac Foundation exhibition.
The Mediterranean: a treasure to be safeguarded
With 30% of global tourism, the Mediterranean is the world’s leading tourist destination (source: ADEME). Unfortunately, such popularity comes at a cost: mass tourism, overfishing, global warming… all threats to a unique marine fauna and flora.

We want to spread our message of Hope a little further, and a lot louder, every year.

An upcoming documentary
Students will chronicle this adventure in a brand-new documentary, scheduled for release in September 2025. Their ambition is to keep raising awareness of the climatic and human challenges facing our oceans today, and to inspire everyone to take action at their own level.
