On Thursday 26 October, we were invited to the closing ceremony of the Tour de France 2023 of the Diversity Charter at the Banque de France in the heart of Paris.
As an international trading company active on 3 continents, our 35 nationalities represented in a workforce of around 450 employees all share common values and objectives. As signatories since last July, we naturally attended the ceremony to take part in the major collective signature.
To have an impact, the Diversity Charter needs to be signed by as many employees as possible who want to take action to promote diversity and combat discrimination. The values defended by these signatures are fairness, tolerance, merit and social justice.
80 different organisations and 150 participants came together to learn more about the subject from the various speakers and testimonies, particularly on diversity, collective action, inclusion and the fight against all kinds of discrimination. These rich discussions have given us the tools we need to strengthen our CSR policy (CSR – Snetor) and to remain in line with our family group, which is centred on people and on ethical, social and societal values.
By signing this Diversity Charter, Snetor has officially committed itself to continuing its fight against discrimination, for equal opportunities, inclusive management and the promotion of diversity within the group.
You too, as a committed company or organisation, can sign this Charter (Charte de la diversité | S’engager (charte-diversite.com)and/or take part in the next Tour de France 2024 to celebrate the Charter’s 20th anniversary.
