Snetor is seeking an International Supply Chain Specialist who will be responsible for ensuring the end-to-end flow of material from the warehouse in Belgium to final delivery to the customer in the USA or Canada, guaranteeing inventory availability according to forecast, compliance with import timelines, control of logistics costs, and excellence in service level.

Assignments

  1. International Logistics Coordination
    • Validate material availability at origin warehouses.
    • Coordinate booking with the freight forwarder to Chicago, Charleston, or Canada.
    • Actively track international transit and manage deviations.
  1. Customs Management
    • Pre-alert the customs broker in the USA.
    • Send and validate required import documentation.
    • Follow up on release processes and customs clearance timelines.
  1. Inventory and Forecast Management
    • Monitor available inventory vs. commercial forecast.
    • Anticipate stock-out risks.
    • Coordinate timely replenishments.
    • Maintain constant communication with local warehouses.
  1. Local Distribution Coordination and Final Delivery
    • Coordinate order preparation with the corresponding warehouse.
    • Request spot rates from truckers for local distribution according to requirements.
    • Analyze and validate transport rates.
    • Schedule ground transportation according to forecast and priorities.
    • Ensure compliance with final customer delivery dates.
    • Follow up until delivery confirmation and manage incidents.
    • Validate final transport rates for subsequent payment processing.
  1. Cross-Functional Coordination and Customer Service
    • Align availability and delivery dates with the commercial team.
    • Keep customers informed about the status of their orders.
    • Act as the single point of contact for the international flow and USA supply.

Profile required

    • Professional degree in Foreign Trade, International Business, Logistics, or Industrial Engineering.
    • Knowledge of Incoterms, international documentation, and customs processes.
    • Experience in inventory management, forecasting, and logistics cost control.
    • Intermediate/advanced English.
    • Highly organized profile, process-structured, analytical, and with a strong service orientation.
